How is fascia therapy different from other therapies?
Fascia therapy addresses the fascial system of your child. It is a passive and gentle therapy (that you do while your child rests or sleeps) and doesn’t require active cooperation of the child.
Is this only for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) or does this help other conditions?
The majority of our patients are indeed children with cerebral palsy (from severe to mild presentations), but this therapy also helps with other neuromuscular and genetic conditions.
How much time do I need to get through the training? Are the lessons pre-recorded?
The classes are pre-recorded and ready for you inside the school. You need less than 2 hours to go through the whole training. You will have lifetime access to the course, so you can rewatch as needed.
How fast will I see results?
You will be able to implement what you learn as soon as you get your tools ready. And you could start seeing results with your child as soon as one month after working constantly with your child.
Can this therapy help with scoliosis?
Fascia plays a key role supporting the spine in alignment and keeping it flexible. The exercise you learn in this workshop helps supporting the spine from the front. You also learn how to create the abdominal binder which offers an effective and comfortable alternative to the rigid braces conventionally used.
My child is older, already an adult. Is it too late?
It is never too late! Fascia can be always addressed and the patient will benefit from this therapy despite their age. As long as someone is available to do the therapy for them. This therapy is done passively (meaning the patient is lying down on a table o mat and someone is working with a soft ball on their body).
My child has a feeding tube. Can I do this therapy?
Many children have feeding tubes and their parents are doing fascia therapy with them. In the workshop you will learn simple ways to protect the area with the tools you are building.
My child has sensory issues. Do you think this therapy helps?
